When Giants Shift: The Ripple Effect of Sigil Occult Jewelry

I might be seeing things—but did Alchemy Gothic just run a social media ad? Call me crazy, but I honestly believe this is the first time I’ve seen them advertise online. I recently wrote a short blog titled "Who's Influencing Who?" touching on this very topic.
What makes it interesting is that Alchemy Gothic has been around forever. They’ve had almost no real competition in the jewelry space—until Sigil Occult Jewelry came along. And while I wouldn’t call us direct competitors, we definitely share space in the same dark, alternative market.
Our designs differ in process and subcultural appeal, but we overlap enough to notice the shift. Their recent activity tells me something: they feel the presence of a serious contender. It’s like someone finally took the seat next to them—and they felt the impact.
To me, this is a badge of honor. It shows that Sigil Occult Jewelry is growing in reach and support. The market is shifting. Maybe it’s making room for another giant.
We carry some of their products on our site because their style still resonates with the people we serve. But I’ve noticed that their newer designs look oddly familiar—like they’ve been watching what we’ve been doing from the beginning.
Now they’re advertising? That says a lot. After 25+ years as an entrepreneur, I know what it looks like when a business starts moving—because it has to. No company changes unless it’s trying to stay relevant or adapt to pressure.
Sigil Occult Jewelry might not be at their level yet, but guess what? They’re moving more like we are—doing what the independents do to survive. And that, to me, speaks volumes.
Thank you to everyone who supports us. You’ve made this movement real. We don’t chase trends. We live the lifestyle. And it’s clear our tribe is making waves.
This is just my observation. I could be wrong—but it feels right. Hails,
