Layaway Program Terms & Conditions

Sigil Occult Jewelry offers a layaway program to help customers secure their desired items while making payments over time. Our layaway program is provided with no hidden fees, no finance charges, and no interest rates applied. The total purchase price remains the same as if paid in full at checkout.

Standard Layaway Orders

A minimum down payment of 25% of the total purchase price is required to begin a layaway order and reserve the item(s).

The initial 25% down payment is non-refundable. This deposit secures inventory, removes items from availability, and covers administrative and processing costs associated with maintaining the layaway agreement.

Items covered under the Standard Layaway Program will not be shipped until the balance has been paid in full.

Sterling Silver & Made-to-Order Items

Certain sterling silver items and other products designated as "Made-to-Order" are manufactured specifically for the customer after an order is placed.

A minimum down payment of 25% of the total purchase price is required to begin a layaway plan and reserve the item.

Prior to reaching 50% of the total purchase price in collected payments, the customer may request cancellation of the layaway plan. In such cases, any payments made may be eligible for refund in accordance with our refund policies.

Once cumulative payments reach 50% of the total purchase price, the order is considered approved for manufacturing and production may begin. At that point, the first 50% of the total purchase price becomes non-refundable.

Cancellation of Sterling Silver & Made-to-Order Items

Customers may request cancellation of a sterling silver or made-to-order item at any time prior to shipment. However, once collected payments have reached 50% of the total purchase price, the first 50% of the purchase price is non-refundable.

Example:

  • Total Order: $200

  • Customer Pays $50 (25%) and cancels before reaching 50% paid: Eligible for refund according to our refund policy.

  • Customer Pays $100 (50%) and manufacturing begins: The $100 becomes non-refundable.

  • Customer Pays $150 and cancels: The first $100 is non-refundable, while the remaining $50 may be eligible for refund.

By placing an order for a sterling silver or made-to-order item and participating in the layaway program, the customer acknowledges and agrees that once 50% of the total purchase price has been collected, that portion of the order becomes non-refundable due to production, manufacturing, and supplier commitments.

Payment Terms & Duration

Standard layaway plans for Sterling Silver and Made-to-Order items are structured for a maximum term of four (4) months from the date of purchase.

Customers are expected to complete full payment within this 4-month period or sooner. Early payoff is permitted at any time.

Customers may request an extended payment plan beyond four (4) months. Any extension is subject to approval by Sigil Occult Jewelry and may require a minimum 50% initial down payment in order to qualify for longer-term arrangements.

Approval for extended plans is not guaranteed and is granted at the sole discretion of Sigil Occult Jewelry.

Returns for Items Purchased Through Layaway Plan (ONLY)

This Returns Policy applies exclusively to items purchased through the Sigil Occult Jewelry Layaway Program.

Standard Layaway Items (Non-Sterling Silver / Non-Made-to-Order)

For Standard Layaway items, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required to initiate the layaway plan and reserve the item(s).

If a customer cancels their layaway order or requests a return prior to or after completion, the initial 25% down payment is non-refundable under all circumstances.

Any additional payments beyond the initial 25% may be eligible for refund in accordance with the remaining terms of this policy and at the discretion of Sigil Occult Jewelry, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

Sterling Silver & Made-to-Order Items

For Sterling Silver and Made-to-Order items, a 50% non-refundable threshold applies.

This means that once total payments reach 50% of the order value, that portion becomes non-refundable, whether the item is paid through layaway or paid through any installment arrangement.

If a cancellation or return is requested prior to reaching the 50% threshold, any refund eligibility will be evaluated in accordance with this policy. Once the 50% threshold has been met, refunds will only apply to any amount paid beyond that threshold, if applicable.

 

General Terms

All Layaway Program purchases remain subject to the full Layaway Terms & Conditions. Items will not be shipped, delivered, or transferred until payment has been completed in full.

Sigil Occult Jewelry reserves the right to review and approve all refund requests. Refunds, when applicable, will be processed in accordance with the terms outlined above and any additional conditions stated at the time of purchase.

By participating in the Layaway Program, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these return terms, including all non-refundable thresholds.
