Policy Changes 2022
It's been 9.5 years since the site launched. Over that time, we have grown slow and organically. Earlier this year we mentioned that this summer we would be expanding our product line that goes outside the boundaries of what we started with back in 2013. We also went through a name change. We are now known as Sigil Occult Jewelry.
Our original name, Sigil of Baphomet Satanic Jewelry is still very much our domain. We will keep the name as it is still very much part of who we are and will remain a solid brand going forward. All relative items pertaining to SoB will continue to exist and we will continue to add to that product line. Thank you all who supported us.
Next I want to jump into the fact that this site is not operating by just one person anymore. There are others assisting us with the efforts involved in the new directions we are heading to. Having said this, our way of doing business must change, as anyone would expect. Change is inevitable.
As of this blog post, each listing now has updated RETURNS, EXCHANGES, AND SHIPPING POLICIES in place. Our main policy page will be updated soon with similar information and hopefully with more information for clarity. It is encouraged that you read these updates if you intend to make a purchase on our site going forward.
The change is not very big. This has been a process that has taken a few years. In the beginning, we wanted to break out into the marketplace with a high reputation for quality. That reputation still runs high today. We stand by the quality of the products we produce. However, as we continue to grow, we are adding more products that are NOT manufactured or produced by us. These products have very limited manufacturer warranties, if any. Our new policies will provide the terms and conditions of every listings for RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND SHIPPING POLICY.
What's New In August
If you have not noticed yet, we have less than 100 days left before Halloween arrives. We added Halloween themed jewelry last year. We admit, we were a little late to the game on that but we did list just a few items. This year, we are on track to add a few more items EARLY.
We will be very competitive with the prices and we hope that we can be fair. We understand this year is a bit trying due to the economic times we are facing. Being fair and accessible to what you see in other sites like Etsy, Ebay, or Amazon, we hope that you take a chance on us and give our site a visit for these items we are going to be posting in August. We not only want to be your main source for jewelry and accessories but we also want you to feel comfortable that you can buy from a reliable source where you are not wasting your money and you can assure yourself that you will get your items fast.
There is alot of talk of Recession right now and we understand what it means to find good deals. If you have read previous blogs and other content I have shared, 3rd Party Seller platforms take about a 3rd of any small businesses' share of the transaction. That is HUGE. That is 30% of what anything sells on those sites. Buying direct from our site will save you money because we can price competitively since we do not have to give up 30% and is the difference and that is where things will be heading for many sellers on these other sites. We have listings on Ebay and Amazon, however, we do not have our entire site's listings there for this particular reason and a few others. This FALL it will be a market for those who are seeking a deal. We are going to add items to the site that will favorable to many, starting with Halloween Theme Jewelry items.
Chokers/Collars
We want to keep it brief and simply but we hope to add a load of new chokers and collars this Fall. Some are probably familiar to you. This is in addition to newly designed jewelry from Xerxes that will drop this Fall.
