Goth Jewelry
Originally, Sigil of Baphomet Satanic Jewelry was just a one of a kind brand that was meant to service the Satanic Community. Would you believe that in 2013 almost NOTHING Satanic existed? I mean sure, there was VERY few and far between a couple of items that would sorta venture into Satanic symbolism on articles of clothing but nothing was available for jewelry.
Our foundation was originally meant to fill that need. That desire to finally see something we REALLY want to see. I knew that it could cause some backlash and it certainly did. Some might say that Satanists are almost as religious as christian folks are. However, I still beg the differ. I feel that Satanists tend to be a bit sensitive about how people view Satanism. After all, seems like nobody ever gets us, right?
Since the death of Anton LaVey and the apparent demise of the Black House in the late 90's,/early 2000's a few have ventured into trying to fill the space that was left open season on filling the shoes of the great Anton LaVey. Lots of "Satanic" groups were popping up all over the world. Trying to be the next great dark philosopher of our time. Whether any of the groups that have formed over the last 15-20 years garnered enough of a following, one thing remains, Satanism is forever!
What ever group or organization you support or belong to, we were not in the business of selling you a new form of Satanic philosophy. We were in the business of servicing a small niche of your daily wear. Yeah, most of us still prefer to wear black about 95% of the time but then there are accessories like jewelry. When we first began, this was what we set out to do. We were open to work with any organization INCLUDING individuals that belong to none, after all, you need not belong or join any organization to be a Satanist.
Sigil of Baphomet had since expanded and grown. We have been able to do much more than just jewelry. This will be our mainstay but we do tend to venture out into other relatable products that we feel you might enjoy. Recently, we created a special relationship with other companies and sellers of other unique products. You may have noticed that our Crochet Dolls are not made by us but rather a friend in Brazil. A master crochet doll maker who supports us and we support her. She is one of a few people that was not afraid to create a product at a price that is reasonable and this was just the start! Since then we have a unique relationship with Alchemy Gothic brand jewelry products and more is coming to the site. You may have noticed that we created Dark Bouquet and Sigil Occult Jewelry. These are other brands under the coven.
Today I wanted to quickly share that all that I just mentioned above is what led us to yet another brand creation we are simply going to call Sigil Occult Jewelry. In the past, I wanted to create a new site for occult jewelry that was not necessarily "Satanic". That is what we started with in 2013 but we are now spreading our wings to reach other niche categories, particularly the Pagan Community. Our previous Site, Xerxes Jewelry is now our official WHOLESALE SITE. So we needed to bring something new that the name would reflect on that focus.
Another thing we are working on is bringing more jewelry that we are calling HALLOWEEN jewelry. Yes, its a thing, if you have not noticed. Certain seasons out of the year, you will notice that Halloween jewelry is something people are into and so it felt appropriate to start stocking some of that too but we will have it available all year round instead.
Now having said that, we sensed that perhaps this is in large part of the demand for more "GOTH" jewelry. People are really into goth fashion and it is very flexible with other aspects of people's lives. Therefore, I am going to start getting more creative with my goth side and explore new items into that category. As a matter of fact, if most of you have followed me on Facebook and Instagram at least over a year, you will remember this ring. The ring with the Seal of Lucifer in the center. This was a prototype ring that was created for the possibility of creating more coffin rings. As you know now, we launched coffin rings with natural crystals and stones. Unfortunately, we went the easy route on those but more on that a little later.
For now, I wanted to share that we are going to go more in depth into Goth Jewelry than ever before. At least, that is the new focus for now. Satanic jewelry will still be around and it will always be a priority, but goth is where we will have alot of fun with. Just you watch. Take a good look at this coffin ring from a year ago. It was never pushed to production and we have scraped this design altogether and have since redesigned a new version. Its been a long time coming and we are closing in on a summer release of perhaps we will wait for a FALL SEASON release. After all, its more appropriate that way too. Don't you think?
We already have prototypes of the new coffin rings we will launch but we are not yet ready to share pics. So this pic will have to do for the time being. If you like the concept or the idea of a coffin ring like this in stainless steel, let us know when we post this on social media. We take everything into consideration. Your thoughts matter. Oh by the way, it will NOT have the Seal of Lucifer on it...so there's that. Makes you wonder what it will look like, right?
Following this project, we will then proceed to redesign our coffin rings in silver. They will have more detail and unlike anything you ever seen before. Just imagine, our Eliphas Levi Baphomet pendant is still one of the best in the market today. A couple of knock-offs exist but none can master the quality, craftsmanship and of course, the details. Even our LILITH pendants are unbelievable. Again, I cannot say this enough, this is still ONLY the beginning.
SO now to keep this blog short and to the point, expect newsletters for May that is running rather late by now. We have experienced some supply chain issues but we are back on track and expect a Father's Day drop for the JUNE Newsletter. Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a new piece coming and its not Lilith v2.0. It will be the Goat of Mendes the way it should have been done but STILL nobody has done it YET. AND THIS IS WHY WE EXIST!
By the way, do we seriously need to go on a rant about how many jewelry sellers out there are still trying to ride our coat-tails of our success? They try to copy us on the most basic pieces we have been doing for years but new items will be hard to come by since many of them are not REAL jewelry companies. We design our most complex designs ourselves. All of our new items going forward will be original designs.
