Tariffs Update
I'm sure you heard the news by now. Tariffs are at 30%, down from 145%.
To be point blank, that's still very expensive and not enough. They are doing this to see how people will react to this.
Let me be clear, 50% would mean DOUBLE the price for everything. In other words, buying something for $10 plus 50% tariffs means it would cost $20. So at 30% its still quite high. I was hoping for a maximum of 10% and that's quite high too but tolerable if it stays that way for years.
Now, anything that's $10 will cost $13. It may not seem bad but trust me, when it comes to large numbers, it can be hundreds or thousands of additional costs. Then, there's the mark-up for retail and its game over for everyone. Prices will shoot through the roof and we're still gonna feel that pain.
If you notice, China will impose 10% on American goods coming into China which THEIR PEOPLE will pay, the Chinese Consumers.
Notice how that works?
Whose taking care of their people better, China or the U.S.?
Do you think the government cares about us? Better yet, do you think the RICH care about you in the U.S.?
That tax isn't coming to me.
